Sound Deadening Material Paramat OptiSound
Many vehicle manufacturers do not provide sufficient sound deadening on sheet metal parts, mounting frames, panels and other components.
This reduces the sonic performance of aftermarket speakers due to resonance and vibration of those parts.
In addition, the rearward sound waves from the speakers are reflected, which compromises the overall sound.
Adequate sound deadening and damping optimises bass reproduction according to the speakers' quality, cleans up the midrange and improves the stereo staging.
Decoupling and contact damping of trim parts prevents the creation of unwanted noises.
The result is improved vehicle acoustics and a noticeable reduction of driving noise.

The viscoelastic butyl layer (best-in-class vibration damper) combined with the aluminium cover foil ensures reliable sound damping.
Alu butyl 2.1 mm is easy to shape and can be processed on curves and uneven surfaces.
