Sound Deadening Material Paramat TitanCore
Many vehicle manufacturers do not provide sufficient sound deadening on sheet metal parts, mounting frames, panels and other components.
This reduces the sonic performance of aftermarket speakers due to resonance and vibration of those parts.
In addition, the rearward sound waves from the speakers are reflected, which compromises the overall sound.
Adequate sound deadening and damping optimises bass reproduction according to the speakers' quality, cleans up the midrange and improves the stereo staging.
Decoupling and contact damping of trim parts prevents the creation of unwanted noises.
The result is improved vehicle acoustics and a noticeable reduction of driving noise.
Product features:
Paramat TitanCore provides enhanced vibration damping with a reinforced butyl layer and a particularly thick aluminium cover foil (0,08 mm).
The high-quality viscoelastic layer ensures an excellent absorption-to-weight ratio. The embossed design increases surface contact and maximises damping efficiency.
Alu butyl 2,1 mm is easy to shape and can be processed on curves and uneven surfaces.
Note:
Clean contact surfaces with suitable agents to ensure they are grease- and dust-free before application.
For the following application:
Sound deadening of doors, floor, wheel arches, roof and trunk
Elimination of unwanted noises
Reduction of vibration
Reduction of driving noise
Recommended as the first damping layer applied directly to sheet metal
